About the artist

Inspired by meaningful experiences, memories and her favorite places, Carolyn Laidley Arn’s work is free flowing and whimsical. She works in short bursts of time, using the most creative periods to get the best result and while working on multiple pieces to explore and stretch the possibilities.

Beginning without an expectation or a vision, but with a careful eye to design and detail, she is inspired by the process and the unexpected results that come from being completely uninhibited. The joy of the process comes through in the work and one by one the pieces begin to speak back as they come together to clearly demonstrating her unique style.
